Business Activities:
The co-operative has two chicken houses with a total capacity of housing forty thousand layer chickens. Balemi Farmstead Primary o-operative owns ten hectares of land with two boreholes supplying enough water and they our currently using only three hectares. They want two include two broiler houses and a vegetables garden.
Challenges/Needs:
The biggest challenge is the cost of fee, Eskom electricity and fuel to transport eggs to Tuckshops.

The co-operative received R1 million funding from SEDFA Co-operative Development Support Programme.
Outcome Details:
Co-operative Development Support Programme has created six full time jobs.
