After the cooperative received signage and attending the International Cooperatives Day the
chairperson made contacts that bought from the business and are now assisting the cooperative to
expand their sales network. This increased business turnover from R250 000 before the signage and
exhibiting at the International Cooperatives Day event to R325 000 4 Months after the interventions.
The business was also able to increase their staff complement from 6 to 7.
