Business Dynamics and Challenges
Business Activities:
Water purification and bottling.
Challenges/Needs:
Kevin Phifadi, the owner of Raindrop Water, started his water purification business in March 2022, driven by his frustration with the quality of tap water. What began as a personal dissatisfaction evolved into business venture that provides purified water, ice, catering to a growing market in his community and surrounding areas.
At the beginning of his operation, Kevin’s business model primarily focused on refilling water bottles for individual customers. However, as his business grew, he moved away from servicing individuals, opting to focus on more lucrative wholesale clients such as retail shops, guesthouses and taverns.
