In July 2025, Sedfa assisted the client in securing funding, and the client was awarded R200,000 by the North West Department of Economic Development,Environment, Conservation & Tourism. However, the official approval was only finalized in September 2025.

FNB Monetise Your Business Exhibition:

In February 2025, the client was supported to showcase their products at the FNB
Monetise Your Business Exhibition, aimed at creating opportunities for access to
local markets. Participation in the exhibition not only enhanced their visibility and
brand awareness but also contributed to an increase in turnover, broadened their
customer base, and opened valuable networking opportunities with potential partners and suppliers. This exposure laid a foundation for stronger market linkages and long-term business growth.

Office Manager – Financial Management System:

Sedfa supported the client in acquiring an Office Manager – Financial
Management System to strengthen the company’s record-keeping and
bookkeeping processes. This system has improved the accuracy and reliability of
financial records, streamlined reporting, and ensured better compliance with
statutory requirements.

Outcome Details: Sedfa interventions delivered significant outcomes for the client. Sedfa assisted in
securing funding of R200,000 from the North West Department of Economic
Development, Environment, Conservation & Tourism, with approval finalized in
September, providing vital capital to strengthen operations and support growth. The
client was supported to participate in the FNB Monetise Your Business Exhibition, which
enhanced visibility, boosted brand recognition, and created valuable networking
opportunities, resulting in a 100% increase in turnover, expansion of the customer base,
and stronger market linkages.

Sedfa facilitated the acquisition of an Office Manager – Financial Management System,
which improved financial record-keeping, reporting, and compliance. This intervention
also enabled the business to hire two additional employees, with the intention of
grooming one to eventually take over as company director, thereby enhancing internal
capacity, governance, and long-term sustainability.
