Intervention Details: In February 2024, Brickforce responded to the Asset Assist Programme call-out and visited
the SEDFA Namakwa Branch, where a business advisor assisted with the application. A
follow-up consultation and operational assessment were conducted on 05 August 2025.
The assessment recommended the development of a professional company profile to:
 Enhance credibility
 Support marketing and funding efforts
 Unlock access to larger and more competitive projects
Outcome Details: The intervention yielded tangible benefits for Brickforce:
 Asset Assist Support Programme: Received equipment valued at R240,755.19 in
2024.
 Marketing Boost: SEDFA assisted in creating a company profile, now used as a
strategic tool to secure new contracts and improve visibility in competitive tenders
and private negotiations.
 Revenue Growth: Turnover increased from R184,448.00 to R232,568.00, reflecting
a positive upward trend.
 Employment Expansion: Staff numbers grew from 5 to 9 employees, with most
being contract workers—an 80% increase in workforce capacity.
 Profit Margin: Profit adjusted from R121,716.00 to R99,066.82, reflecting a
recalibration due to operational restructuring and investment in assets.
