Operating as a farrow-to-finisher piggery, Cingisita focuses on breeding, raising, and finishing pigs for slaughter.

                                        Challenges/Needs:
Despite its strong vision, Cingisita Agri-Business Primary Co-op Ltd faced significant operational challenges, including limited breeding stock, high feed costs, and outdated genetics. These constraints hindered its ability to scale-up and meet market demand. Recognizing the need for strategic support, the co-operative applied for funding through the ECRDA/SEFA blended finance and SEDA Co-operative Development Support Programme (CDSP) — a move that proved pivotal in unlocking its growth potential.
