Intervention Insights and Results
Intervention Details:
A Small Business Assessment Tool (SBAT) and Export Readiness Assessment Tool (ERAT) was done on the business with the aim of identifying challenges and making recommendations and where necessary advise. The business advisor later commissioned an assistance with marketing coupon to assist the client with banners, designs for labelling and business profiles. She was also referred to SEDFA National office for Export support based on the action plan derived from ERAT report. Due to the nature of her product she as given an opportunity to showcase her products at a fully sponsored Basadi’s farmer’s market in Mabopane. The client has been advised to apply for Asset Assist as she is in need of machinery to produce in-house as opposed to appointing a contract manufacturer.
