Outcome Details:
The coop was trained on Basic business skills, cooperative governance, and costing and pricing. They were assisted to develop a business plan which was submitted for CDSP funding. The cooperative was funded by SEDFA through the CDSP grant funding an amount of R1 166 945,00. This fund was utilised in obtaining the following:
- Tractor with implements
- Borehole with implement
- Irrigation System
- Fencing
- Fertilizers and Pesticides
They were also assisted with signage. All these resulted in then increasing their employee headcount and having an increased turnover
