Through the intervention provided, the client obtained funding approval amounting to R 889 000. The funding assistance helped the business to replace old stock of layers with the new stock.
Today the business is stabilized with the turnover increasing from R 846 245 to R 889 145 (5% growth), and the staff complement increasing from 10 employees to 13 employees (created 3 job opportunities).
Most importantly the intervention protected the business from the risk of losing current egg supply contract with Lindsay Eggs.
