• Fewer machinery to assist the business in providing clothing manufacturing classes and producing for larger orders. The business also lacked embroidery machinery for the branding of work wear and uniforms they were producing.
• Lack of visibility in premises and lack of marketing material to assist the business in its marketing efforts.
• Ineffective business managerial practices.

Intervention Details:
• Nasidu Enterprise received assets funding to the value of R 240 285 to assist the business in their production capacity and sewing classes.
• The business was assisted with the development of quality promotional material to assist in their marketing efforts, as well as signage to improve visibility of their store.
• The business owner attended a 6-month mentorship to assist them with strategies to improve their operations and overall business management strategies.

Outcome Details:
• The business increased its turnover from R448 773 to R 1 047 196 due to the improved visibility and quality of marketing material used in their marketing efforts, which enabled them to attract more clients.
• Employees grew from 6 to 7 full-time employees.
• The business improved nature in which they ran their business after the mentorship.
• The capacity of Nasidu Trading has improved, and all clothing branding is done in-house.
