Intervention Insights and Results
Intervention Details:
Sedfa conducted an assessment and assisted to register his business in June 2024.
Sedfa helped the business to gain insight into the industry: his business advisor tasked him with researching art galleries and how they operate. In July 2024, he attended an exhibition at the Duggan-Cronin Gallery in Kimberley, which exposed him to professional art presentation and marketing. Later, in December 2024, Sedfa took him to an exhibition in Cape Town featuring Emerging Artists that ran for about 3 weeks, further broadening his understanding of the art market and inspiring him to pursue his passion as a viable business.

Outcome Details:
He secured a contract with Kimberley Street Art to create paintings in the streets of Kimberley.
Nel Gallery took some of his paintings to sell, and Dweba Gallery expressed interest in signing him as a supplier. Additionally, he gained international recognition and received a partnership offer from Luxdecors, an interior design and decoration firm based in Canada.
These experiences have marked a turning point for Karabo, transforming his art from a hobby into a growing business with local and international opportunities.
