Challenges/Needs: There company could not secure access to funding through pitching for educational events. Those exposures and exhibitions were aimed to be held annually for the grade 12’s in the whole Namakwa district, that needed a lot of funds. The events were to be held every year as exposure and exhibition as guidance to school children that are in the Namakwa district. The were no resources to market and grow the idea.

Intervention Insights and Results

Intervention Details: The client approached SEDFA. The Business Advisor did an assessment on the client. The outcome of the assessment constitute that the client needs to be assisted with business plan to assist with pitch for access to funding
Outcome Details: This enabled the owner to make valuable presentations and pitches with excellent projections and a lot of buying from finance houses and academic institutions. The idea grew into an income generating centre. Developing from being non-functional to income generating business. Income generated from R0 in May 2024 to R330 000 August 2025, and 30 jobs were created.
