Outcome Details: The interventions by SEDFA led to substantial business growth and market expansion:
• Turnover increased from R87,350 to R270,668 - a growth of R183,318.
• Net profit improved from a loss of R331 to R19,403.76.
• Employment grew from 3 to 7 employees, creating 4 new jobs.
• Operational expenses increased from R87,681 to R251,264.24, driven by higher project volumes, equipment investment, and staffing needs.
• Secured more projects compared to previous years, thanks to improved capacity and strategic guidance from mentorship.
Although operational expenses increased due to the investment in branding, compliance, and expansion, the business is now well-positioned for sustained profitability and further market penetration.
