Intervention Details:
When Lefa Skills Academy engaged with Seda, the Business Advisor conducted a business diagnosis and implemented the following interventions:
• Development of a comprehensive Business Plan to support funding applications
• Support in identifying appropriate funding opportunities, including guidance through the SEDFA Lending and Investment Unit application process
The business plan was instrumental in presenting a structured case for funding and operational expansion.

Outcome Details:
As a result of Seda’s intervention and support:
• Turnover increased from R2,696,526 to R4,169,274, a growth of 54.6%
• 10 out of 12 jobs have been sustained, with prospects for further job creation once the facility is developed
• The business successfully secured funding from the SEDFA Lending and Investment Unit to the value of R350 000 in support of the development of a fully compliant training facility on newly acquired land
• Increased brand recognition and client confidence among local mining houses
