African Poncho specializes in manufacturing of both men and women clothing such as ponchos, suits and school uniforms. In 2018, the company revamped its factory and bought new machinery with assistance from Seda-TTF grant thus allowing them to increase production capacity. Outcome Details:
The application for funding was successful. The company has received funding totalling R249 000 to purchase machinery. This grant has assisted the company to increase production and improve on current revenue by 8%. The company has increased its staff compliment from seven (7) to eight (8) employees.
