This resulted in limited market penetration, and difficulty in building customer loyalty and reliability, ultimately hindering the business's growth and profitability. Therefore, the client visited Sedfa for assistance.

Intervention Insights and Results

Intervention Details: The client approached Sedfa in October 2024 to solicit business support services and advice on how to overcome his challenges. A diagnostic assessment was conducted using the CPE Tool to gain more insight on the business requirements. The outcome of the assessment reiterated challenges that brought the client to Sedfa, which is business compliance documents. It was determined that the business should be assisted with business compliance documents. Additional shortcomings compelled the client to again approach Sedfa for business support in February 2025. The SBAT diagnostic tool was used by the Business Advisor to assess business operations. The outcome highlighted that Mr. Carlson had challenges was to gain access to markets. The development of a Company Profile was proposed to assist the business to plan accordingly. These were used to pitch for an opportunity to secure a contract. Business advisory services were rendered throughout the process.
Outcome Details: The business compliance intervention was implemented in October 2024 and through vigorous searching, this allowed the client to obtain an opportunity at a mine in Tonga. The business attained its first client and started to record an increase in clientele, including sales, thus leading to business growth. The Company Profile intervention was initiated in February 2025 that was used to do pitching at various business to increase its footprint. The business managed to increase its turnover from R 0.00 in October 2024 to R390 000.00 in May 2025. MTTS created a job for the owner (1) and have sustained the one (1) job over the past six months.
