The business was assisted with Labelling and Packaging for brand visibility and credibility. Furthermore, Mr. Motholo was assisted with an application for the Asset Assist program to access funding and purchase required machinery and equipment that will cater for the new production line and advance current operational processes. The funding application has been approved and the disbursement of funds to acquire the required machinery is in progress.

In 2023, Client approached Seda Thabo Mofutsanyana Branch seeking business development support services in order to grow and increase sales. The business advisor performed a diagnostic analysis using the Critical Planning Exercise tool (CPE) to determine the business shortcomings and possible remedial interventions to support the business growth. The assessment report revealed the following challenges that needed urgent attention:
• Packaging & labelling
• Access to funding to purchase required equipment for a new production line and improve current business operations.
• The outdated equipment (tablets) resulted in regular breakdowns placing the business at risk of losing clients and income.

• Packaging and labelling have improved brand visibility, therefore increasing sales, market share, and profit margins.
• The turnover of the business increased by approximately 42% from R657 150 in the 2023/24 financial year to R692 910 in the 2024/25 financial year.
• Employment has grown by 57% from three (2023/24) to seven (2024/2025) staff members.
• Packaging and labelling have improved brand visibility, therefore increasing sales, market share, and profit margins.
