She was introduced to a Business Advisor who conducted a thorough diagnostic assessment, the Small Business Assessment Tool (SBAT) and Export Readiness Assessment Tool (ERAT) were utilised to ascertain the stage of development, the client's currently within its current business in terms of Export readiness. This will identify gaps in various business areas in terms of business operations, production, product quality standards, and export capacity. It is therefore important for this activity to be developed to ensure the growth of enterprises into the export market.

Through Sedfa’s business support, the business achieved the following benefits:
o There is a higher new clientele awareness of the business, as evidenced by the increased sales;
o Turnover increased from R 1 717 324 to R 1 784 351, an increase of 3.90 %, and
o Employment opportunities increased from 4 to 6.
