Through Sedfa’s evaluation of the company's operations, several areas for development were recognized, amongst others were: • Limited understanding of the Quality Management System (QMS). • The company experienced minimal client engagement, which was determined to be a result of insufficient market visibility caused by inadequate branding and marketing efforts.

Intervention Insights and Results

Intervention Details: • The client was enrolled in a Sedfa organised 2-day intensive Quality Management Systems training.
• To improve client engagement and boost sales, the company received support in developing a website, signage board, and various marketing materials.
Outcome Details: • QMS training improved the knowledge of the entrepreneur resulting in improved product quality and thus securing more referrals and repeat business.
• Turnover for the 3-months period increased from R30 000 to R70 500, a 235% growth.
• The business has since created 1 more job.
