Intervention Details:
The client approached Sedfa with a business idea to solicit guidance on how to start the business. Ms. Rwida was assisted with the application for the Asset Assist Programme. Furthermore, Ms. Rwida attended the Financial Management Training this was informed by the SBAT assessment conducted in September 2024.
Outcome Details:
The Asset Assist Application was approved and Ms. Rwida received equipment to the value of R238 847,80. The equipment comprised of water purification system, Ice-Cube making machine, Ice - Cube Freezer, Cooler Freezer, two Jojo Tanks,
Laptop, Printer & Projector. This intervention assisted Ms. Rwida to start her own water purification company, buy business site and she is saving towards building her own retail store. The client’s financial and entrepreneurial skills have improved since the training intervention. Bofeyabodutu Pty Ltd increased its turnover from R0.00 in December 2024 to R90 000.00 in May 2025, translating to 100% business growth. In addition, the business managed to create employment for two (2) local youth.
