To address these challenges, Hlambisa Group sought assistance Sedfa and was assisted by Thabo Ngwadla, Business Advisor in the Nelson Mandela Bay Branch, conducting an assessment of the business. After identifying the key gaps, he recommended a series of interventions to help move the business forward.
Xolela Mangcu applied for the Asset Assist Programme, which provided him with the necessary financial support. This assistance enabled the business to acquire the required cleaning equipment, machinery and helped to increase its operational efficiency

The Asset Assist Support Programme (AAP) application was approved with amount to R249 948.00 and the business now owns additional equipment and increased capacity.
Access to finance enables the business to gain exposure in the local market share and the business is able to service a bigger clientele base.
The business turnover grew from R 2 268 129.00 to R 2 884 482.62, representing an increase of 28% in revenue.
Employment has grown by 67% from 33 to 55 permanent staff members
