QUOTE/ SMME’s comment
Rise Apparel was awarded a contract to supply Pick n Pay Clothing with school uniforms. The company approached SEDA for assistance with packaging, as they were struggling with the upfront costs required for the project. With limited time to meet tight deadlines, SEDFA stepped in and provided the needed packaging worth R140,000mwithin two weeks. This support was crucial for Rise Apparel to fulfil the order and compete with larger businesses. Without SEDA's help, small businesses like Rise Apparel would struggle to take on big corporate contracts due to financial constraints. A special thanks to Ms Thomas for her dedication and passion for small business.
