Outcome Details: • With no previous business experience and skills, the owner is now capacitated in several aspects of the business.
• Through the SEDFA Asset Assist Programme the business acquired R183,017.39 grant assistance for new machines and equipment which has assisted the business to expand its production capacity. The business experienced an increase in sales.
• The productivity improvement programme assisted the business in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and boosting workforce skills. It also helped the business to adopt modern technologies, track performance, and improve competitiveness.
• The business turnover has increased from the sales of 2021/2022 which was R150,000.00, and increased to R 1,420,537.00 in the current financial year.
• The number of employees increased from 4 to 10 including the owner.
• The business has recently received funding confirmation from SEDFA Township and Rural Enterprise Programme valued at R2 246 181,67.
