Challenges/Needs: As a startup business, Nama Power needed to infiltrate the market and create awareness about its services. Lack of promotional collateral hindered the business to achieve this goal. Intervention Details: The client approached Sedfa in March 2024 to request for business development support. An assessment was conducted, and it was recommended that the client be assisted with marketing material
Outcome Details: The intervention was implemented successfully and led to the much-needed brand awareness. The business has managed to secure contracts outside the Namakwa district as a result of this intervention.
There was also an improvement in turnover, from R 86 496.00 in May 2024 to R 243 852.00 in January 2025. Nama Power also created five (5) more jobs thus bringing the total number of employees to eleven (11).
