Access to finance which would allow him to reinstate new equipment and new stock in the business. Since the business had not operated in 6 years, some of the existing equipment had to be replaced as it was old.

Intervention Details:
Mr Chambale came to the branch in need of financial assistance. Since he is a youth client, he qualified to apply for the NYDA Grant. Multiple sessions were had with Mr Chambale, most of those being online sessions.
Outcome Details:
The business was able to access funding worth R45 800 through the NYDA Grant. The business started operating. It currently has two employees. Since the business was a start up it now makes 36.9% of profits turning over R27 000 per month. Business accessed a new market which is steadily increasing.
