Business Activities: Her first products was a simple wool hand bag and in the year 2000, she started learning how to read diagrams and patterns. In 2008 she trained at Nthakgoleng Project workers how to crochet shoes for a year and went to complete her studies in Office Administration and graduated in 2014
Challenges/Needs: On the 26th October 2015 the client was registered as SEDA client and a small business assessment tool was utilized to the client to assess the four pillars of this business and the following challenges were identified: - Poor marketing - No Business Plan - Poor financial management and bookkeeping At the time of the assessment the client was generating an average of R600 per month and she was using it to survive and also had excessive stock because she always creating new products with different patterns.

Intervention Details: The client was assisted with promotional materials in to enhance marketing initiatives. The company was invited for the various business trainings. They also attended numerous number of exhibitions locally. Thabonaka has been to Bulgaria invited to showcase their product.
Outcome Details: Thabonaka Wool Trend Creations may have begun from very humble beginnings, but today Thabonaka Wool trend Creations is considered one of the leading craft brands producing innovative products, beadwork workshops, knitting and Crotchet skills to local organizations and Arts and Culture beneficiaries (artists). Thabonaka Wool Trend Creations had successful stories in the district of Thabo Mofutsanyana, working with different stakeholders across all the Municipalities making sure that all beneficiaries receives what's due to them and on time.
With the comprehensive support from Sedfa, Thabonaka achieved significant growth and success:
 The company managed to secure training projects from Department of Sports, Arts and Culture
 Increased its turnover by 3000%, growing from R7 200 to R250 000.
 Expanded its workforce by 500%, growing from one to five permanent employees.
