Intervention Details:
The client approached Sedfa branch for assistance. The business was assessed, and action plan was developed. The client was assisted with promotional material and taken to various exhibitions including the Lemo Business Expo in 2024. The business was further support with the launch of their inaugural MoDlaDleng Festival in 2024 which is an annual event showcasing the heritage of Mangaung and its rich history In a form of a festival. Mr Mohlakoana was also assisted to launch an autobiography which was launched at SEDFA Mangaung Branch.
Outcome Details:
The interventions yielded positive results. MMT hosted a Gala Dinner in March 2025 at the Rocklands Hall. The aim of the gala dinner was to promote MSMEs and provide a platform for them to network and form collaborations. The event was graced by the Mayor of Mangaung Metro Mr Gregory Nthatisi amongst other dignitaries. The Gala dinners also attracted support of Mangaung metro, Marumo Gallants and other sponsors which was a great success. Mr David Mohlakoana also successfully marketed his autobiography at the event and sold over 50 copies to the value of R7,500.
