Business Activities:
The business is currently operating at home of the owner for repair of small movable assets such as fridge, stoves and car aircons. Larger appliances and installations are done at customer premises. Current main customers include supermarkets, restaurants such as chain of Spur restaurants in Limpopo and Gauteng
Challenges/Needs:
Mr Mukwevho First contacted SEDFA in March 2024 during Mookgophong outreach. During consultations the following challenges were discovered:
• The business was lacking proper planning and growth strategy.
• The business is lacking marketing materials and strategy to attract customers.
• The business needs funding to buy operational equipment’s.
• Absence of both financial planning and record keeping.
• Lack of understanding food safety, important working with restaurants.
Intervention Insights and Results
Intervention Details:
• During the consultation, the client was introduced to SEDFA income statement excel template, which he learns to record his income and expenses
• The client attended a five-day business planning training course, which assisted them in focusing on business growth, profitability and understanding funding requirements.
• The client attended a two-day food safety training that helps them when working with restaurants and supermarkets.

Outcome Details:
• Turnover increased from R 270 000 to R 295 000 per annum, a 11% growth.
• Employment increased from 1 to 4, a 400% growth.
• With help of Business plan training the client is preparing to submit application for funding that will focus business growth and profitability.
• With help of Food safety training the client is now able to handle food with care when working with restaurants and supermarkets
