Through Seda's support, MP Ngophe was assisted in applying for the COVID-19 relief fund, receiving R50,000, which helped them cover operational costs and navigate the challenges they faced. The development of new signage significantly boosted their corporate image, contributing to clientele growth. With continuous mentorship, the business improved its financial management and overall operations.
Market linkage efforts led to a major three-year contract with the Department of Health, supplying food to seven hospitals in Free State and Gauteng province, these contracts are expected to generate over R300 million. This resulted in a turnover increase of over 35%, with further growth expected. A total of 23 jobs were sustained, positioning the business for continued success and expansion.
