The client approached SEDA with an aim of getting assistance for business development services. An assessment was conducted on the business to identify areas of concern and it determined that the business requires financial support to capitalize as well as promotional material to increase their market share in the area.
Intervention Insights and Results
Intervention Details:
The client was assisted with the design, development and supply of promotional material and was invited to partake in pop-up exhibitions. They were further assisted with an application for financial support through the Asset Assist Programme, which is still pending.
Outcome Details:
The business turnover increased from R40 000 to R40 820, and the number of employees increased from 1 to 2 employees since the owner needed someone to help during exhibitions and markets.
