attended a 5-day training course in Pella facilitated by Sedfa for business development support.
After this intervention, the client was assisted by the Calvinia Access Point to apply for the Asset
Assist Programme.

Outcome Details:
The Asset Assist Application was approved and Mr. Magerman received equipment to the value of R238 050.00. As a result of this intervention, the business started to record an increase in
clientele including sales thus leading to business growth. In addition, the business managed to increase its turnover from R 0.00 in September 2023 to R 144 000.00 in March 2025. DJ Birdie NC also managed to create two (2) more jobs thus bringing the total number of employees to three (3).
