The client visited the Sedfa City of Cape Town Branch to seek development support. She was introduced to a Regional Facilitator for Co-operatives, Lerato Sereetsi, who conducted a diagnostic assessment to identify areas of concern and improvement for the Co-operative. The assessment and interviews seek to help with identifying activities that need Sedfa and other stakeholders’ interventions as well as to highlight important and critical needs of the co-operative.
The following interventions were implemented: -
Facilitated Co-operative Pre-incorporation Training,
Facilitated Co-operative registration,
Facilitated CIPC compliance; and
Facilitated Financial Management - Once-off financial clean-up.

Outcome Details:
