Intervention Details: The client visited the Sedfa City of Cape Town Branch to seek development support. She was introduced to a Regional Facilitator for Co-operatives, Lerato Sereetsi, who conducted a diagnostic assessment to identify areas of concern and improvement for the co-operative. The assessment and interviews seek to help with identifying activities that need Sedfa and other stakeholders’ interventions as well as to highlight important and critical needs of the co-operative.
The following interventions were implemented: -

Facilitated Mentorship and training;

Facilitated advice and development support;

Facilitation of Access to finance;

Facilitated exhibition and market access, and

Development of marketing material.
Outcome Details: Turnover increased from R 31 393 to R 183 674.25, an increase of 485.08%.
