Seda’s diagnostic assessment revealed that there is a need to assist with signage to attract customers to their premises. Signage was developed and installed, promotional material was developed and supplied to the business to partake in exhibitions and local pop-up markets.
Outcome Details:
The company managed to increase their rentals and sales both in towns of Lekwa-Teemane and the townships by 48% market share. With the help of promotional material, they now sometimes work on Saturdays to attend events, flea markets, community events to market their business. They have successfully roped in major retailers in the area such as Clicks and Pep Home to invest in their town, with Shoprite, Coco Fino restaurant, Crazy store and others on the pipeline. The business’ turnover has increased from R35000 to R384000. The business managed to sustain current employment of 2 staff members and hired 2 additional staff members.
