This Zulu-inspired restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring some of the best grilled wors rolls and wings on the coast1. With a reputation for delicious food and a welcoming environment, Feje Restaurant has become a favourite spot for both locals and visitors. The business which was initially operated with a staff complement of 3 including the owner, Ms Ntombi Mkhoma. Currently it boasts a staff complement of over 20 employees. This was mainly due to funding received through the SEDA Technology Transfer Programme. The restaurant has now become a household name in the South Coast and is still growing at a much higher rate than expected.

The necessary assessments were conducted, and the following challenges were identified: The company lacks funding to expand its business and acquire the necessary facilities, equipment, and machinery to effectively service its clients.

Seda assisted the company with applying and pitching for the TTF funding to enable it to expand its, then, mobile kitchen to a formidable restaurant it is now.
Outcome Details:
The company has achieved measurable growth since Seda’s interactions and interventions. Below are some quantifiable achievements: • Turnover increased by 299% (from R421 118 to R1 680 305) • Profits increased by 430% (from R85 249 to R451 868) • Employees have also increased by 633% (from 3 to 22)
