• The business managed to secure grant funding worth R 202 119.31 from Asset Assist Programme to acquire baking ovens, baking tables, cake mixer, display fridge, baking tools and cash register to increase production capacity and efficiency.
• For the financial year 2023/24 the company has recorded a turnover of R 540 000.00 with operational costs of R 528 680.00 which translate to the net profit for the year before tax of R 11 320.00. This translates to the following positive results for the business:
- Increase in turnover of 118% from R 248 000.00 to R 540 000.00
- Increase in profit of 599% from R 1 619.00 to 11 320.00; and
- The business managed to retain three employees and created one additional employment; this then gives a total of four employees in the business.
