In July 2022 the client approached Sedfa to request support with his new business idea. The assessment was conducted and the outcome indicated that the client needed training in Basic Business and Financial Management Skills. Training intervention was implemented and Mr Koopman was capacitated as proposed. Thereafter, a Gap Analysis was conducted on the business and the results indicated that RML Cutz needed a Business Plan to access funding opportunities.
RML Cutz was assisted with the development of Business Plan. This intervention gave Mr Koopman confidence to pitch and submit funding applications to different institutions. The client was successful and received funding of R 19 000.00 from Phakamani Funds. These funds were re-invested back into business for acquiring assets and tools.

Outcome Details:
Sedfa’s interventions had positive impact on the business. Since the beginning of the year, there has been an increase in clientele therefore contributing to business growth. RML Cutz is currently well established and has increased its turnover from R 0.00 to R 10 950.00 in a period of 4 months.
