The business specializes in producing contemporary art, abstract art, art administration, coordination of art events, and promotion of artists.

When the owner met Sedfa Business Advisor, the business was experiencing challenges regarding low sales. This was due to low access to the national and international markets. The main markets for art products are outside the province. These markets are usually accessed through exhibitions, trade fairs, and shows. The client didn’t have the means and knowledge on how to register and attend these events.

Intervention Details:
The client was registered on the Sedfa database. Export Readiness Assessment Tool was used for assessment. Sedfa offered pre-exhibition training to the client. The client was also assisted with transport, accommodation, and exhibition stall at the Rand Easter Show for six days.
Outcome Details:
• Product visibility to the national and international market. The
business has started to receive orders from both national and
international clients
• The owner of the business is appointed as the provincial
coordinator of artists in school in Limpopo.
• The business has hosted 430 kids from different schools in
the provinces sponsored by the Department of Arts and
Culture as part of skills transfer.
• Currently the business is offering support to 20 artists offering
support and market access in the Vhembe District
• Sales has increased from R407 407 to R3 260 514
• The number of Employees increased from 2 to 11
