After conducting an assessment, the Business Advisor was able to identify the gaps and recommended interventions to address the gaps. The owner was assisted to apply for the Asset Assist Programme for the purpose of acquiring sewing equipment.
Outcome Details:
Access to finance - The Asset Assist Programme application to the value of R 230 049.96 was approved and the owner was able to acquire the needed equipment to take his business forward.
The business now has increased production capacity and reduced lead times due to the introduction of the new machinery.
Turnover increased by 32%, from R 56 965 (December 2023) to R 74 714 (December 2024).
Staff increased by 400% from one employee (Owner only) to five employees in total.
