improvement interventions were implemented.
❖ Development of an e-commerce website to access the local and international market.
❖ Design and development of promotional materials.
❖ Products have been sent to South African Bureau Standards (SABS) for testing.
❖ Trade exhibitions.
Outcome Details: Through Seda’s business support the owner has realised the following benefits:
➢ Marketing material to expose the business in events and online.
➢ The business has a website for marketing and selling their products online.
➢ Product testing through South African Bureau Standards (SABS), to ensure quality and
reliability of their products.
➢ They employed 2 part-time workers to assist with sales management, i.e., an increase
of 200% and turnover increased by 163.45% from R36 800 to R96 950.
