Intervention Details:
The entrepreneur visited Seda office in 2022 and was registered as a client. A Gap Analysis assessment was conducted, and various shortcomings were identified including lack of adequate funds for stock and poor record keeping. Mogarele was assisted with application for TREP funding which was submitted to SEFA. The application was successful and was eventually funded in 2023 to the amount of R49 000.
Outcome Details:
The impact of the above-mentioned intervention was realized as below:
- A large amount of stock was purchased
- Clientele increased due to the business ability to sell a variety of products
- Stock taking and proper record keeping has been implemented
- Revenue increased by 122 % from R95 000 to R210 880
- The company has retained its 2 jobs and has created 2 of which one is permanent
