Melinaz is in the security industry offering guarding and security training services. The business is targeting youth within the area of Phalaborwa and surrounding area. Most clients are unemployed matriculants who want to enter the labour market but are not skilled. As a young woman, Mabatho has harnessed her skills working for SAQA. The owner experienced how much people struggled to get their companies certified to offer training. In the process of helping these companies, an opportunity was borne. Mabatho Ledwaba negotiated with a well established company, Beyond 2000 to offer mentorship to Melinaz. This arrangement ensured that Melinaz penetrates the market sooner than envisaged.

Intervention Details:
(i) Business assessment
The assessment helped with financial projections, identification of strengths and weaknesses. This analysis generated a plan of action, as a result; Seda intervened as follows to help the client:

Seda assisted the business to set up a professional and interactive website that would be an information platform for the clients, especially the target market. The website is aimed at creating an online presence to reach the youth audience and other target market.
(iii) Marketing collaterals
The client was assisted with corporate identity, gazebo and branding, flyers, windows branding and other marketing collaterals.
