It caters to private and public clients in Limpopo and Gauteng. She is currently supplying a small coffee shop with her baked goods and at times can secure government contracts for catering. In addition to the owner, the business employs one person who helps her prepare her goods. The owner uses mostly relies on word-of-mouth advertising and direct selling to generate her sales.

Financial management
The owner is not accurately recording the monthly sales and expenses of the business as well as planning for the growth of the business. She lacks financial management skills such as compiling monthly profit and loss statements as well as budgeting.
Sales and marketing
The owner targets the general public which she attracts from direct selling and word-of-mouth. She does not have marketing material that can help attract potential clients to her business. The business does not use social media to market itself.
Operations
The business uses a small domestic dough mixer and oven which are not able to produce in large quantities. This limits her capacity to produce more products. The business does not have capital to invest in the purchase of new machines. The owner does have some formal education in baking and product handling processes, but she could benefit from additional training to improve her skills.
