Independent sales representatives are also provided with a business opportunity by Lass Skincare to resale the items. The company's owner, Mrs. Lynnette Simelane Vilakazi, launched this project to empower unemployed women by teaching them how to be independent sales agents since she is deeply committed to women's empowerment. This program has proven to be an extremely effective marketing tactic in guaranteeing that Lass Skincare products are accessible in Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, and South Africa. Lass Skin Care is a business that has demonstrated a strong commitment to ethical practices by earning a BBBEE Level 1 designation. Challenges/Needs:  Market accessibility issues (lack of access to markets especially International markets as the client requires to export) because the company hasn't tested its products yet and  Access to funding to expand capacity.

Intervention Insights and Results

Intervention Details: 1. Facilitate access to product testing
2. Facilitate access to the Export Competitiveness Program offered by ProductivitySA and
3. Facilitate access to funding through the Pitch and Perfect Programme and the Asset Assist Programme.
Outcome Details:  The company obtained support for testing their products. Seda issued a Purchase order of R 59 864,40 to cover the cost of the testing. Because of the testing, the company has been able to expand their market and the selling of their products.
 Increase in Turnover by 316%.
 Because of internal growth, the company was able to employ three more employees, bringing the total number of employees up to 6.
