Business Dynamics and Challenges
Business Activities:
Mrs. Makereke Maria Tsotetsi has been informally operating her business for many years and formally registered it in 2022. The business trades six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, at different times during the day. It is in a park area opposite KFC and FNB in Frankfort. The business primarily sells clothes according to seasonal fashions and operates on a cash basis. Recently, the business has diversified to also sell meat from home.
The owner aspires to be provided with premises to support business growth, as she often faces challenges from poor weather conditions such as rain, cold, dust, and heat. Another challenge she faces is the lack of a fitting room and toilet facilities, as she must pack up her stock every time she needs to visit the toilet.
