Business Dynamics and Challenges
Business Activities:
Tebogo Nicholas Ngonyama is the founder and sole director of Rejuvenx Designs (Pty) Ltd. The business operates from the garage at the home of the owner at 910 Unit C Hospital view, Mahwelereng, approximately 5km from Mokopane. It commenced operations in March 2021 and was formally registered with CIPC two and a half years later in November 2023. The entity began by selling masks at taxi ranks to raise funds for equipment. They then transitioned to focus on designing and manufacturing wedding and event clothing. However, due to low income and infrequent projects, they diversified their product line to include safety vests and similar fashion vests to maintain cash flow.
The main customers for safety vests are construction and engineering businesses. For fashion safety vests, the target audience is young to middle-aged men and women. Mr Ngonyama has a National Diploma in Fashion Design from Vaal University of Technology. He started the business to create employment for himself and to build a legacy for his family. He used his own capital to start the business, and then reinvested revenue and profits from previous projects to grow it.

• Absence of both financial planning and record keeping.
