Through Seda's intervention, Menge’s Kitchen underwent a significant transformation, realizing substantial growth and sustainability in its operations. With Seda's assistance, Menge's Kitchen achieved formal registration and full compliance with regulatory standards, including SARS and BBBEE requirements, ensuring legitimacy and credibility in the market. Business skills training enabled Miss Loeto to enhance her management capabilities, facilitating informed decision-making and effective business steering and technical training in HACCP elevated food safety practices, instilling confidence in customers and stakeholders.
Through Seda assistance with facilitation of access to funding, Menge's Kitchen was referred to Department of small business development (DSBD), IMEDP funding and they were assisted with essential machinery and equipment, enhancing operational efficiency. The Ongoing mentorship and coaching provided invaluable guidance, equipping the business with resilience and adaptability. Financially, the implementation of Seda's interventions boosted turnover from R0 to an impressive R80,000 per annum within the first year. Three jobs were created, and one job sustained fostering economic empowerment.
